Host: Nigel Ashford
My name is Nigel Ashford, and I'm originally from Birmingham, AL. I attended the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL, where I found my love for media and decided to obtain my Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism and a Minor in Marketing. After college, I worked two-three years in television and radio, reporting the news. In the last three years, I have worked in the non-profit realm using my skills in communications and public relations to market 501(c)(3) organizations. I currently reside in the beautiful music city of Nashville, Tennessee, where I work as a Social Media/Digital Manager for a national corporation. I am also the proud creator and host of the newly developed Facebook Live talk show, "OUTSpoken," which will showcase LGBTQIA+ people of all colors, backgrounds, and ethnicities. Our mission is to provide a media platform that will allow our LGBTQIA+ brothers and sisters to speak up and speak out about their untold stories and realities.
